FICCI 56 Marks Sixth Edition of Salon FICCI
To give audiences an overview of new trends in the film industry and the course it is taking, FICCI 56 has organized a series of events with the participation of international figures of the stature of Brillante Mendoza, Susan Sarandon, Sharunas Bartas, Viktor Kossakovsky and Luis Ospina as part of its Salon FICCI initiative.
Providing a forum for discussion and the sharing of experiences on the art of filmmaking has become a priority for FICCI. This is precisely the goal of Salon FICCI, an initiative that seeks to bring together the public, the industry and creative leaders via a series of panels, workshops, press conferences and master classes. Some of these events address memory as an innate attribute of film; others emphasize debate and current trends; while yet others reflect on the history of the festival itself.
